We take an old-fashioned approach in the best possible way — we like to meet our clients face-to-face, wherever they’re based. This allows us to fully understand your hiring needs, learn more about your operation, and identify your recruitment challenges.
From there, we create a tailored plan, draft a detailed job specification, and guide you through our Client Culture Assessment — a short questionnaire of around 20 questions designed to help us understand what makes your organisation unique.
Once we have a clear picture of your company, its culture, and we’ve agreed on the terms, we’ll put the recruitment plan into action — keeping you informed every step of the way.

Often, the most qualified and well-suited candidates aren’t actively looking for new roles — so we use every tool available to attract and engage the right people for your organisation.
Once we’ve identified candidates who appear to be a strong match, we invite them to complete our Culture Fit Questionnaire. This helps us understand what motivates them, what kind of environment they thrive in, and the type of company culture they’re best suited to.
At V1 Recruitment, experience and qualifications alone aren’t enough for us to recommend someone. We take it further by comparing their questionnaire results with your company’s responses, then calculating a Culture Match Index — a measurable score that shows how closely their values and working style align with yours.
Each candidate is then placed into one of three categories:
🟩 Excellent Fit (80–100%)
🟨 Good Fit (60–79%)
🟥 Limited Fit (<60%)
This approach ensures we only present individuals who are not just capable, but who will integrate seamlessly into your team and contribute to long-term success

Once we have screened and interviewed the candidate (preferably face-to-face), reviewed their culture fit assessment, and determined that they are a strong fit for your organization, we will provide you with their CV, salary expectations, current notice period, references and a copy of the culture match report, including a summary statement stating why we think they are a good fit.

Once you’ve met the candidate, asked any remaining questions, and made a final decision, we will communicate the outcome to the candidate along with any positive or constructive feedback. If you’d like to make them an offer, we can agree on the salary, terms, and other details, after which you can present the candidate with an offer of employment, subject to all requirements being satisfied (DBS/Right to Work/References)etc.
Once the candidate has signed the contract and a start date has been agreed, our business will be concluded. However, we will remain in close contact with both you and the candidate—particularly during the first 3 to 6 months—to ensure that everyone is satisfied and that we have done everything possible to make the placement a success.
